I couldn't let the summer finish up without talking about my wonderful colleagues this summer! The HECMA Leadership Team is made up of 10 members who represent the needs and desires of the membership as a whole. They work tirelessly throughout the year to provide professional development and networking opportunities to HECMA members and support the growing profession of higher education case management.
& so here they are!

This picture was taken on the night after the LT's Annual Meeting which occurs the day before the conference begins. You may notice that there are more than 10 people in that picture, & you're right! Each year at the annual conference is the transition meeting between LT members. This year the Director of Training and Development, Director of Operations and Strategic Planning, and the Non-Clinical Case Manager at Large transitioned. Below I've listed the names, LT positions, & institutions of each of the LT members (pictured above left to right)!
Alicia Talbird, Clinical Case Manager at Large, University of Georgia
Sean Joy, Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Gonzaga University
Dr. David Wiltshire, Director of Marketing and Communications, Duke University
Dr. Jacqui Tisdale, Vice President of Conferences and Special Events, University of Rhode Island
Dr. Carrie Smith, Director of Finance, University of Georgia
Mona Dugo, Director of Operations and Strategic Planning (outgoing), Northwestern University
Brenda Anderson Wadley, Director of Training and Development (incoming), University of Arizona
Tawanna Brown, Non-Clinical Case Manager at Large (incoming), University of Alabama
Kipp Van Dyke, Director of Training and Development (outgoing), Iowa State University
Noah Henry-Darwish, Director of Operations and Strategic Planning (incoming), University of California, Berkeley
Liz Stevenson, Director of Membership and Recruitment, University of Central Florida
Dr. Rachael Stark, Non-Clinical Case Manager at Large (outgoing), Temple University
Laurel Banks, President, University of North Carolina School of the Arts
As the first HECMA intern, I am honored to be a part of this Leadership Team. To say this summer wouldn't have been the same without them would be an understatement and I look forward to continuing to work alongside these professionals in the years to come.
